This music is entirely composed and performed with computers. The main piece, Fraktal Suite, is a three-part composition that uses the concept of automatic composition. Notes are generated according to the mathematical theory of fractals (Mandelbrot set). The resulting music is rearranged and orchestrated with sampled and synthesized sounds. The other compositions are various pieces of electronic music composed between 1993 and today.

Stéphane Jose Montréal, Québec

Born in Bordeaux, France, Stephane started as a drummer in local rock and jazz bands. After working as a percussionist in the French army, he moved to Canada to study jazz at McGill U. While working as a freelance musician on the Montreal jazz scene, he got into computer assisted music and programming.
